K7 engine blade with k7 model

An engine blade from the Orpheus jet engine that powered Donald Campbell's Bluebird K7 boat on January 4th 1967. It was recovered with the rest of Bluebird from the bottom of Coniston Water in 2001. Each blade is unique due to the amount of corrosion and damage sustained. A model of Bluebirdk7 is also mounted on a piece of Coniston slate. Each piece of slate is also unique and of irregular size. The model measures approx. 4inches long. The set is presented win a black base and a clear acrylic cover.
