Gina Campbell QSO

Gina was only seventeen when her father, Donald Campbell CBE, was killed. She has also inherited the family competitive spirit. In 1984, she won the UK Offshore Boating Association Championship with Mike Standring. She also won the Royal Yachting Association National Championship. In the same year she broke the Women's World Water speed record at 122.8mph, surviving a crash eerily similar to he father's accident, but with two broken collar bones. In 1990, Gina increased her record to 166 mph.
